Ready for Business: Networking for GOOD!
- ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï
Networking for Good, part of our Ready for Business event series, is a project-based networking opportunity for students and employers to connect while completing community service projects.
In partnership with the office of Community Engaged Learning, students and employers will have four projects to choose from:
- T-shirt bags and placemats. The t-shirt bags are utilized by Flashes Fighting Hunger when distributing foods at the on campus food pantry.
- The placemats will be shared with residents of the ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ïway senior apartments near the KSU campus to share positive, encouraging messages with residents.
- Bookmarks to be distributed at ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï Free Library
- Friendship bracelets with ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï City Schools
Representatives from Community Engaged learning will share additional details about their mission as well as project instructions & supplies at the event. Students and employers will be able to sit at tables while completing the projects and engaging in conversation.
There is no need for students to stay for the event duration or arrive at the exact start time. Students are welcome to rotate between tables/projects at will to engage with multiple employer representatives. Open to all ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï State students!
