Trauma-Informed Practice

Online Workshop:

Trauma-Informed Practice

Are you a teacher, counselor, or social worker working with individuals who have been through trauma? This workshop explores how violence and other forms of trauma affect key areas of child development, including behavior, attention, memory, and language. We will learn to create supportive environments that promote safety, predictability, and emotional regulation for all students. We will also learn to implement practical strategies to reach and teach trauma-impacted students while maintaining high expectations.

Required Textbook: Craig, S. E. (2008). Reaching and teaching children who hurt: Strategies for your classroom. Paul H. Brookes Publishing.
