Practical Agile Project Management Overview
The Agile Project Management approach has been helping organizations reach strategic results since the Agile Manifesto was written in 2001. Since then and despite how useful it can be, Agile has been misunderstood, misapplied and hotly debated.
In this one-day class, we will examine Agile (primarily Agile Scrum) and Adaptive project techniques as tools and options for project management. We will determine how to apply the very best ideas, with the least amount of disruption to the systems, tools and accomplishments of your current organizational structure.
Through hands-on exercises, we will meet these objectives:
- Provide project team members and leaders a solid understanding of what Agile and Adaptive project approaches are, as well as their similarities and differences with more traditional (Predictive) project approaches.
- Reinforce the application of basic Agile Scrum concepts through practicing easily relatable exercises.
- Understand the expectations and duties of key roles in the Agile Scrum process: Product Owner, Team Member, Scrum Master, Sponsor, and other stakeholders.
We can tailor this program and deliver it on-site or virtually for your employees and leaders.
