����Թ� has once again been recognized as one of the nation’s Most Promising Places to Work in Student Affairs.

Chris Moody, executive director of ACPA-College Student Educators International (ACPA), stated, “On behalf of ACPA and The EDU Ledger, we are pleased to share with you that ����Թ� has been selected as one of the 2026 Most Promising Places to Work in Student Affairs.”

����Թ� State is one of only two universities in Ohio to receive the 2026 honor and has earned the recognition consistently each year since 2021.

The designation is based on responses to the 2025 Promising Places to Work in Student Affairs survey, which assesses institutions on staffing practices and work environment. According to Moody, ����Թ� State “rose to the top in categories such as family friendliness, salary/benefits, and professional development opportunities, to name a few.”

A full list of recognized institutions will be released by The EDU Ledger in the coming weeks, and ����Թ� State will be highlighted in a future edition of the publication.

The Promising Places to Work in Student Affairs study was first proposed in 2011 as a partnership between ACPA and Diverse: Issues in Higher Education. The commissioned research examines how diversity and inclusion permeate student affairs divisions, including administrative structures, commitments, work environments and staffing practices.

For the Division of Student Life, the recognition reflects a long-standing commitment to people-centered leadership and professional growth.

“This honor recognizes the dedication of our student life professionals to foster belonging and care throughout our community,” said Eboni Pringle, senior vice president for the Division of Student Life. “It also affirms that we believe people matter.”

Pringle said the award underscores the culture Student Life strives to cultivate.

“This recognition affirms our dedication to creating an environment where our people are supported, developed and genuinely appreciated,” she said. “Our strength lies in how we show up for one another, investing in growth, extending grace and working together toward a common purpose. That is Flashes Taking Care of Flashes in action.”

She added that prioritizing staff well-being ultimately benefits students.

“An investment in our people recognizes the value we each hold and a shared commitment to ensuring that those who serve our students are themselves supported, valued and empowered to thrive,” Pringle said.

����Թ� State representatives will be formally recognized at the ACPA26 Convention, scheduled for March 30 through April 2, 2026, in Baltimore, Maryland.
