ΜμΜμ³ΤΉΟ’s Wick Poetry Center recently helped create a new mural for the .

According to the , the new mural, located in downtown ΜμΜμ³ΤΉΟ on Franklin Avenue, is now the largest mural in Portage County and pays homage to both farmers and shoppers alike.

The design now features the β€œHaymaker Community Poem,” a project launched by the Wick Poetry Center that drew inspiration from shoppers and vendors who submitted poems for the market’s 30th anniversary.

β€œWe were thrilled to create the website and prompts, to gather a harvest of voices celebrating the market, to build the community poem,” David Hassler, the Bob & Walt Wick executive director of the Wick Poetry Center, told the Akron Beacon Journal.

The Wick Poetry Center was tasked with creating a website where anyone within the Haymaker community could contribute memories and stories about the market to create a community-wide poem. The website, aptly named β€˜Haymaker Market Stanzas,’ displays poems on postcards from various community members.
