Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella
Music by Richard Rodgers
Book and Lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II
Directed by Amy Fritsche

The timeless enchantment of a magical fairy tale is reborn with the Rodgers & Hammerstein hallmarks of originality, charm and elegance. 鈥淩odgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella鈥 tells the story of a kind-hearted young woman forced into servitude by her cruel stepmother and stepsisters, who dreams of a better life. With the help of her Fairy Godmother, she's transformed for one unforgettable night, attending a royal ball where she captures the heart of a prince. Originally presented on television in 1957, starring Julie Andrews, "Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella" was the most widely viewed program in the history of the medium. Its recreation in 1965 starring Lesley Ann Warren was no less successful in transporting a new generation to the miraculous kingdom of dreams-come-true, and so was a second remake in 1997, which starred Brandy as Cinderella and Whitney Houston as her Fairy Godmother.

CINDERELLA is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals on behalf of The Rodgers & Hammerstein Organization.
