FlashLine hero images are reserved for high-priority university-wide information, initiatives and signature events that are relevant to a broad segment of the ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï State community. Because this space is limited and highly visible, it is not intended for routine promotion of individual programs, departments, colleges or events.

Appropriate guidelines

• University-level priorities and presidential initiatives
• Important university dates or actions affecting a broad audience, such as open enrollment
• Signature university events and commemorations, such as Homecoming, May 4, Martin Luther King Jr. and Juneteenth commemorations
• Other time-sensitive university-wide information when broad visibility is important

Request processes

• Placement is determined based on university-wide relevance, audience reach, timing and available space; submission of a request does not guarantee placement.
• Should be submitted for consideration one week in advance.
• Typically run for three to 10 days
• Will be superseded by leadership requests
• Requests that do not meet these criteria should generally be promoted through Faculty/Staff News Now, ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï State Today or the university events calendar, as appropriate.

• Dashboard banner - choose your audience(s) on the form

  • Typography in type safe area (overlay template with image to check)
  • Image Size: < 650kb
• Mobile (FlashLine) Image:
  • Dimensions: 900 x 1040 px
  • Typography in type safe area (overlay template with image to check)
  • Image Size < 350kb
