DI Creatives-in-Residence Exhibit + Reception
- ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï
Join us for a reception celebrating two interactive exhibitions that explore how technology and memory shape our relationship to identity and culture. Together, these works reveal technology as a powerful tool for reflection, storytelling, and reimagining the future.
Featured Exhibits:
Charisse Harris’ Food Futures is an immersive and speculative visual narrative, exploring the intersection of food, food futures, culture, and artificial intelligence. As an interactive, technology-driven exhibition, the project invites participants to reflect on how technology shapes cultural memory, identity, and imagination around food.
Sanmitha Nantur Ganesh’s Memory Mirror invites participants to transform personal nostalgia into AI-generated art through voice, emotion, and imagination. Analyzing the emotional tone of the user's voice and specific imagery described, the system explores the intersection of human emotion and machine learning, showing that technology can be a tool for deep personal reflection. Participants will walk away with a custom AI-generated image of their memory via a unique QR code.
