• Must be enrolled in the College of Education, Health and Human Services Hospitality Management program (graduate or undergraduate; major or minor)
• Must be participating in a Study Abroad experience during the semester that the scholarship is awarded

The recipient of this scholarship must have engaged in community work that demonstrates social consciousness, or be overcoming challenges and serve as an inspiration to future generations of Hospitality Management students.

• Must be a ����Թ� student in their junior or senior year of study, majoring in Hospitality and Event Management
• Submission of current resume
• Submission of unofficial transcript
• Essay describing community work that demonstrates social consciousness or challenges overcome

• Must be enrolled in the College of Education, Health and Human Services Hospitality Management program (graduate or undergraduate; major or minor)

• Must be enrolled in the College of Education, Health and Human Services in a Hospitality Management degree program, undergraduate or graduate
• Must demonstrate financial need due to a unique or unexpected hardship that would cause a lack of funding needed to continue pursuing degree completion or developmental opportunities
• A recipient can receive up to $1000 annually; not renewable, must reapply

Education Elevated Conference (e2) will be held virtually on Friday, Mar. 8, 2024, from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. As always, e2 is free to attend and open to anyone. This year’s theme is TechForward! Our goal is to equip participants with the latest strategies and tools to effectively integrate technology into instruction, and drive forward with educational innovation.

The Women's Center is pleased to host Marvi Sirmed: journalist, human rights activist, and Scholar at Risk on Tuesday, Mar. 5 from 5:30-7 p.m. All are welcome to attend this presentation on her work as a journalist in Pakistan, reporting on incidents of violence against women – “honor killings” in particular.

Get ready to reduce, reuse and then recycle in February and March! ����Թ� State is competing in Campus Race to Zero Waste, an international waste reduction and recycling competition for colleges and universities. Everyone’s collective actions on campus—reducing, reusing and recycling—prevent waste from going into landfills and contribute to ����Թ� State's Campus Race to Zero Waste standings.
