“Always in our thoughts, forever in our hearts," is inscribed on a plaque at the ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï State Student Memorial Garden on Manchester Field on the ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï Campus. It was created in 2015 in remembrance of all ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï State students who have died. The inspiration for the Student Memorial Garden came from Undergraduate Student Government and other student organizations who advocated for a permanent student memorial on campus. Judging Information
Judging is done by the ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï State Alumni Association. The alumni association will review and make determinations for all award categories and reserves the right to suggest alternate awards based on the nominee’s qualifications and experience.
Important Eligibility Information
- Current ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï State full-time staff members who are alumni are only eligible for the Outstanding Staff Member Award.
- Alumni who are previous ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï State staff members will not be considered for another Alumni Award category sooner than five years after the individual’s separation from ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï State as an employee, and consideration of eligibility, accomplishments and service for any given award shall be for the time period after separation from the university as an employee.
