If you had a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) in 2025, please note the following deadlines. The IRS requires that any 2025 balances remaining in your FSA at the end of the 2025 calendar year be spent by March 15, 2026, and claims filed by June 30, 2026, or the balance will be forfeited. This means that if you had a balance of 2025 funds remaining in your FSA as of Dec. 31, 2025, you have until March 15 to incur qualified expenses (deductibles, co-pays, eyeglass, dental expenses, etc.). Reimbursement for incurred expenses using 2025 funds must be filed by June 30.

Appointments are still available for the February biometric screenings, so be sure to book yours today. These “Know Your Numbers” health screenings are for full-time, benefits-eligible employees as part of the employee wellness rewards program. Screenings will apply to Tier 1 incentives. Make an appointment for your health screening by logging into the Be Well portal.

C-CAT is the CARES Center Action Team, which includes faculty, staff and student volunteers from across the university system; all are welcome. Monthly meetings are held virtually via Teams; Spring semester meeting dates are on Fridays (Feb. 27, March 27, and April 27 from 12:15 p.m. - 1:45 p.m.). C-CAT members select from one of the four subcommittees/workgroups, which include: volunteer recruitment, business and donor connections, developing social media campaigns, and creating resources for fully online students.

Main Street ����Թ� is seeking new design proposals for the KENT sign, a public art piece located on N. Water St. in downtown ����Թ�, just before the Fairchild bridge. The original goal of the public art project was to create a unique structure that receives a “new look” every year or two, to showcase a variety of artists’ work over time. Main Street ����Թ� is seeking submissions for artwork to fill the inside of each letter. The chosen artist will be compensated $1,000 and their artwork will be installed in Spring of 2026. Submit proposals here by Feb. 28.
