We attended the AWP Conference in April, which was held in Minneapolis, with several staff members and students. Though the conference has grown to over 10,000 participants, Wick had a strong presence at the conference and the book fair where we reconnected with Wick authors, sold word nerd tee shirts, Traveling Stanzas posters and postcards, and ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï Press poetry series books. As the Fall 2015 semester comes to a close, we have to give the warmest of thanks to our incredible student interns, workers, and graduate fellow. This year was extra special, as we were able to start the semester with two days in Millersburg, Ohio at the Young's Artist Residency. We had a wonderful time discussing poetry, reading and writing, and bonding over delicious meals, gorgeous stars, and a mist-combed sunrise. Studying for final exams wasn’t the only thing keeping nursing students busy on the East Liverpool Campus in recent weeks. The students also took time from their studies to help others from the community enjoy the holidays. The Student Nurses Association at ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï East Liverpool spearheaded a project to help provide gifts for 105 local children through the Salvation Army. ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï’s College of Podiatric Medicine will celebrate its centennial anniversary in 2016. Located in Independence, Ohio, it is one of nine accredited podiatry colleges in the United States and is a four-year, graduate-level medical college, granting the degree of Doctor of Podiatric Medicine. The conference is open to all undergraduates in any discipline and in any for-credit course on any ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï State campus.
