“Coaching isn’t something we do. It’s the way we do things.” Alan Fine, InsideOut Development.

Some roles such as advisors, mentors, peer guides or on-boarding buddies involve coaching others for growth and development. Other roles such as directors, managers, supervisors or team leads involve coaching to get work done through others - coaching for performance, accountability, and results. This interactive course introduces the foundational concepts, practices, and mindset that connect all coaching conversations across the organization. Whether your role supports student or employee growth and collaboration or your role is to help achieve organization results this is your starting point.

Through reflection, demonstration, and guided practice, participants learn how these skills build trust, improve communication, and create space for insight and accountability. This course is the prerequisite for Coaching for Results (supervisory series) and Coaching for Growth (individual contributor). By the end of this 120-minute experience, participants will share a common language and mindset for coaching that fosters continuous learning, strengthens relationships, and enhances effectiveness at every level of the organization.
