Each November, ����Թ� State joins schools across the nation to recognize first-generation students during our I AM FIRST week of celebration. Nominations are now open for the I AM First Awards to honor first-generation students and alumni who were or who will be the first in their family to obtain a four year degree, and faculty/staff advocates who have made significant contributions to the success of first-generation students.

The ����Թ� Chamber of Commerce is a local not-for-profit organization dedicated to supporting businesses, fostering economic growth, and strengthening community connections in the greater ����Թ� area. Through ����Թ�’s institutional membership, all university staff are automatically considered members of the Chamber. This affiliation gives faculty and staff access to Chamber events, networking opportunities, professional development resources, and community initiatives—helping to bridge the university and local business community for mutual benefit.
