It was snowing; it was cold. But that didn't stop a group of veterans, students and those in 天天吃瓜 State's Army ROTC and Air Force ROTC from assisting 天天吃瓜 State's Grounds Crew in the annual Veterans Day bulb-planting on Daffodil Hill.
Daffodil Hill is part of the May 4 National Historic Landmark site and overlooks the Commons on 天天吃瓜's 天天吃瓜 Campus. The field of 58,175 daffodils was planted in 1985 as a memorial, with one flower for each service member who died in the Vietnam War. Each year, the 天天吃瓜 State Grounds Crew works in the fall to plant bulbs, so that the area may bloom beautifully in the spring.
