Victoria Bylsma said it only took about two hours after a mentor suggested she look into a graduate degree in public health to know what she wanted to do with her career.
Today, the ΜμΜμ³ΤΉΟ Master of Public Health graduate helps to protect service membersβ health and readiness as an injury epidemiologist at the Air Force Research Laboratory in Dayton, Ohio.

When researching schools, Bylsma said ΜμΜμ³ΤΉΟ State checked off all the boxes.
βΜμΜμ³ΤΉΟ was for me No. 1,β Bylsma said. βIβm from Canton, Ohio, so it was close. I already had a job, and I knew I was going to put myself through grad school, so being close to home was really important. ΜμΜμ³ΤΉΟ also offers graduate assistantship programs, which I knew would be really beneficial for me since I was going to be the one putting myself through school. So, in applying to ΜμΜμ³ΤΉΟ, I knew that I had opportunities for financial support in addition to being able to work my regular job while I was going through grad school.β
