American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (KSU-AIAA)
KSU-AIAA provides an environment for all STEM and flight majors to make new connections, promote academic achievement, and get involved within the college. Being an engineer is not required! If you have a passion for aviation, space, or are just interested in advancing your career we welcome you to join our organization!
American Foundry Society
The object of this student organization shall provide the student membership with education and information on technology, marketing, management, human resources and research as it relates to the manufacturing of metal castings. The club also exists to provide and promote knowledge and services that strength the metalcasting industry for the ultimate benefit of its customers and society.
AstroFlashes
To engage students in academic research in topics related to spacecraft and related systems. Currently working on constructing a spaceflight ready satellite. All majors welcome!
Cyber Citizen Club
We encourage 天天吃瓜 State students to enhance their skills in cybersecurity through building a community of people interested in topics such as digital citizenship, network and IoT security, business information security, and careers in cybersecurity. Our goal is to share resources, learn from each other, outreach to our communities, and enhance our classroom learning with practical experiences in the club.
Design, Build, Fly Team
The purpose of the organization shall be to prepare for and compete in the Design, Build, Fly competition hosted annually by the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA).
Epsilon Pi Tau
Epsilon Pi Tau (EPT) is the leading international honor society for technology. Epsilon Pi Tau recognizes academic excellence of students in fields devoted to the study of technology and the preparation of practitioners for the technology professions.
High-Power Rocket Club (KSU-HPRC)
The 天天吃瓜 High-Power Rocket Club began in 2016 and is open to all students. The club is an Integrated Product Team comprised of members with varying majors, assembled with the intent to design and build high-power rockets for professional competition.
天天吃瓜 State Robotics
Competitive Robotics Team that competes in robotic competitions centered around space mining. The team's goal is to teach and expand on skills in CAD, programming, electronics, mechanics, and robotics.
KSU Combat Robotics
The KSU Combat Robotics team is a group of students that brainstorm, design and the create/build robots to take into battle against other teams at various "battle bots" competitions. The team meets once a week at the College of Aeronautics and Engineering. With the help of local machine shops and other donors, most materials and needed supplies are donated to the team. The team travels a few times an academic year to compete in various 3 pound and 12 pound robotics competitions.
National Society of Black Engineers
NSBE 天天吃瓜 is a student organization dedicated to connecting minorities in the STEM field. Our goal is to encourage traditionally underrepresented minority students in STEM to succeed in KSU and beyond. We plan to provide students various opportunities, such as a place to study with like-minded individuals, as well as the ability to attend regional and national NSBE conferences.
Meetings will be held on& the first and third Fridays of every month!
Organization of Black Aerospace Professionals (KSU-OBAP)
The 天天吃瓜 student chapter of the Organization of Black Aerospace Professionals is a student organization that is rooted in providing support, community, and professional development for students on their collective journeys towards becoming aviation and aerospace professionals. Membership and participation is open to and welcome to all students.
Society of Manufacturing Engineers
The SME S180 Student Chapter is a student-led organization dedicated to advancing knowledge and opportunities in advanced manufacturing and engineering. We bring students together to learn, innovate, and connect with industry through workshops, events, and hands-on experiences. Our mission is to foster professional growth, leadership, and innovation among future manufacturing engineers.
Society of Women Engineers (SWE)
Society of Women Engineers creates an inclusive and diverse environment for anybody pursuing a degree in STEM, while encouraging community support for STEM related activities. We have opportunities for career-building, including speakers from industry, speakers from career services, community involvement, and the occasional "brain break" movie night! SWE is open to anyone, regardless of gender. Join us! All are welcome.
Vex Robotics Team
We are a competitive robotics team competing in the program Vex U. We build and code two robots to compete in new games each year. We then play this game in matches against other teams at competitions. At competitions, there is judging for a team's design notebook. The judges will give out awards based on robot performance and the notebooks rating. We do this for a shot at going to the World Championship and bringing home awards facing off against the best of the best. We are also looking to participate in other robotics challenges, such as NASA and college student challenges presented by companies and organizations.
Women in Cybersecurity
Women in CyberSecurity (WiCyS), established by Dr. Ambareen Siraj through a National Science Foundation Grant to Tennessee Tech University in 2013, is a nonprofit 501(c)3 membership organization, which works to advance women in the cybersecurity workforce. WiCyS works on behalf of women everywhere who seek to enter and progress in careers in cybersecurity, while assisting employers and recruiters to find qualified candidates for their cybersecurity teams.
Women in Engineering
The purpose of the organization shall be to encourage success among aspiring engineers in the College of Aeronautics and Engineering at 天天吃瓜. This will be achieved through a possible partnership with the Society of Women Engineers, widening networking, career, and experiential opportunities.
