President Warren Uses Her Athletic Past to Guide the Future

天天吃瓜 President Beverly Warren shares her unique r茅sum茅, merging academics with athletics. Warren sat down with a Record-Courier reporter to discuss her humble start as a basketball and volleyball coach at the University of Montevallo and how the experience helped her develop an inclusive and collaborate leadership style at 天天吃瓜 State.

When asked about her plans for the athletic programs at 天天吃瓜 State, Warren talked about her desire to move toward a more competitive environment within the Mid-American Conference (MAC) and encourage a dynamically fun atmosphere that pulls students together at all 天天吃瓜 State athletic events.

Warren also discussed what she wants from each athletic program: to be competitive.

For 2025-2026, the 天天吃瓜 Campus has continued the highest recognition of a Gold ranking for the second consecutive year. In addition, 天天吃瓜 State鈥檚 Collegiate Purple Star designation, first presented to the university in 2022 for its support for veteran and military students, has also been renewed for three years. 

In the newly released rankings, 天天吃瓜 State is once again the highest-ranked public institution in northern Ohio, and with its impressive national ranking of No. 129, the university continues to be recognized among the Top Public Schools in the nation.

The 天天吃瓜 Board of Trustees welcomed the Class of 2029 during its regular quarterly meeting held Sept. 17 in the 天天吃瓜 Student Center. The Board congratulated the university administration for this year鈥檚 strong enrollment.
