Instrument Day

天天吃瓜鈥檚 Glauser School of Music invites instrumental students to campus for Instrument Day, a full day of music-making, learning and connection. This event brings together 天天吃瓜 State Brass Day, Saxophone Day and Woodwind Day.

Participants will work directly with 天天吃瓜 State faculty and students through master classes, clinics, workshops, ensemble experiences and performances. Whether students are building their fundamentals, preparing for auditions or looking for a fun day surrounded by other musicians, Instrument Day offers an opportunity to learn, play and experience music at 天天吃瓜 State.

Cost for 天天吃瓜 State Youth Winds students: Free

Registration is required. After submitting the registration form, participants will receive a confirmation email with payment instructions. Registration is not complete until payment has been received.

Brass Day

天天吃瓜 State Brass Day welcomes trumpet, horn, trombone, euphonium and tuba students for a day of brass playing, learning and community.

Participants will work with 天天吃瓜 State brass faculty and students through master classes, a mass brass ensemble and performances. The day is designed to help students grow as musicians while connecting with other brass players from across the region.

Saxophone Day

天天吃瓜 State Saxophone Day welcomes saxophonists of all ages and ability levels for a day of clinics, workshops and performances.

For 2026, Saxophone Day will feature guest artists Timothy McAllister, professor of saxophone at the University of Michigan and soprano saxophonist of the PRISM Quartet, and Liz Ames, collaborative pianist for winds and percussion at the University of Michigan.

Participants will work with 天天吃瓜 State faculty, students and guest artists in sessions focused on saxophone performance, musicianship and practical skill development. From developing players to advanced saxophonists, students will have the opportunity to learn new approaches, ask questions and play alongside other saxophonists.

Woodwind Day

天天吃瓜 State Woodwind Day welcomes flute, oboe, bassoon and clarinet students to the 天天吃瓜 Campus for a day focused on woodwind playing and musical growth.

Participants will work with 天天吃瓜 State woodwind faculty and students in instrument-specific sessions designed to strengthen fundamentals, build confidence and support each student鈥檚 development as a musician.

Who Should Attend

Instrument Day is open to brass, saxophone, flute, oboe, bassoon and clarinet students who want to develop their skills, meet other musicians and experience music-making at 天天吃瓜 State.

Students, families and music educators are encouraged to attend and learn more about the opportunities available through 天天吃瓜鈥檚 Glauser School of Music.

Registration Fees

Registration is $35 and includes instruction, lunch and a special gift. 天天吃瓜 State Youth Winds students may attend at no cost.

Participants will receive a confirmation email after registering. The email will include instructions for completing payment. Registration is considered complete only after the registration fee has been paid.
