George R. Newkome, Ph.D., and his wife, Mary Jane Saunders, Ph.D., have pledged $1 million to fund a first-ever professorship in materials science in 天天吃瓜鈥檚 College of Arts and Sciences. Dr. Newkome is a two-time 天天吃瓜 State alumnus.

WHAT:
天天吃瓜 will celebrate its newest graduates at its One University Commencement at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 12, at Dix Stadium. The ceremony recognizes graduates from the university鈥檚 eight campuses. In total, 天天吃瓜 State will confer 5,345 degrees this spring.鈥
