Crawford Hall Commemorative Beam Signing

A commemorative beam signing event was held in April for Crawford Hall, the new home for the Ambassador Crawford College of Business and Entrepreneurship. The beam was signed by university leadership, the college’s National Advisory Board and building project donors. This will be the final beam used to complete the building’s framework and will be placed in June during a special ceremony. In honor of Teacher Appreciation Week (May 8 - 15), the College of Education, Health and Human Services recognizes two graduates who went into education. Bernie Hovan, â€™63 M.Ed ’65, died in 2020, but was remembered for his compassion in coaching and mentoring student-athletes. The ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï alumni family will grow by about 5,500 new graduates as the university holds its spring commencement ceremonies. The accomplishments of the Spring Class of 2023 will be recognized with in-person, outdoor commencement ceremonies on May 11-13 and May 19. All of the commencement ceremonies will be livestreamed at www.kent.edu/commencement.
