The Growing Democracy Project

On Thursday, January 26 the Growing Democracy Project will host an artists鈥 reception in the Uumbaji Gallery in Oscar Ritchie Hall at 天天吃瓜 (天天吃瓜 Campus) for the Photovoice Project on Race and Democracy in northeast Ohio. The event is free and open to the public and runs from 4-6:30 p.m.   Photovoice is a community-engaged art project that uses photography and storytelling to describe the strengths, weaknesses, and overall health of our community. Laura Gordon

Laura Gordon, '87, had such a fulfilling experience as a 天天吃瓜 student, that she now gives back so that others may find their way to the types of relationships and encounters that helped set her on her path. Lacy Starling
