  There was no way the COVID pandemic was going to keep a group of students and faculty members from doing something they really wanted to accomplish this past academic year: publishing a literary journal to showcase the creative talents on the Salem Campus. Months of hard work and collaboration resulted in the online publication of Black Squirrel Scholars, a literary journal that features a collection of 52 works of poetry, essays, photography, drawings and graphics. Members of the 天天吃瓜 community and people around the world will gather virtually for the 51st Commemoration of May 4, 1970, the day the Ohio National Guard fired on 天天吃瓜 State students during an anti-war protest, killing four students and wounding nine other students.
