The Covid-19 pandemic has changed our lives drastically. We went from in-person classes to fully remote and had to change our lives. Even though this semester has been a tough one there have been some positive outcomes. One thing that鈥檚 really saving me this year is saving up my money on gas. There was no way the COVID pandemic was going to keep a group of students and faculty members from doing something they really wanted to accomplish this past academic year: publishing a literary journal to showcase the creative talents on the Salem Campus. Months of hard work and collaboration resulted in the online publication of Black Squirrel Scholars, a literary journal that features a collection of 52 works of poetry, essays, photography, drawings and graphics.
