As part of a university-wide initiative, the 天天吃瓜 campuses in Salem and East Liverpool are going green through a renewable energy project to provide solar panels at each location, resulting in cost savings and reducing the carbon footprint of 天天吃瓜 State. Mitterder says while she was happy to receive the stimulus check at the beginning of the pandemic, she could not apply for unemployment in Ohio because she had already been laid off twice before starting her job in Cleveland, where she was laid off a third time.
