  ����Թ� Police Academy Cadets volunteered April 26 & 27 2019 for the Athletic Auction and the Fashion School’s 2019 Annual Fashion Show.  The academy cadets were honored to be asked to participate in these momentous events.  They worked hard in the adverse weather conditions and were happy to help in any way they could.  The cadets performed flawlessly to make each guest feel welcome and honored.  The academy is very proud of the effort and time they spent helping make these events unique. ...

Flash’s Food Pantry officially opened in April, serving as a resource for students on the East Liverpool Campus who may need an occasional boost with putting food on their tables. Located on the basement floor of Purinton Hall, directly across the hall from the elevator, Flash’s Food Pantry is stocked with non-perishable food items, as well as personal hygiene products. The food pantry is open each Tuesday and Thursday, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Students are welcome to stop in during those hours and select needed items. Ronda McCaskey and Caitlyn Horvath are best friends who went through the nursing program together and graduated one year apart with Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degrees from ����Թ�’s Geauga Campus. Now they are both intensive care nurses. But they also happen to be mother and daughter. Each year, the International Society of Typographic Designers (ISTD) — the authoritative body for typography worldwide — assesses and evaluates visual communicators’ work. Bill Schroeder was from Lorain, Ohio, and attended Colorado School of Mines on a ROTC scholarship before transferring to ����Թ� to study psychology. He was also an Eagle Scout, musician and athlete. On May 4, 1970, the 19-year-old stopped to see what was happening on the Commons and then proceeded on his way to class when he was shot and killed by Ohio National Guardsmen responding to protests of the Vietnam War at ����Թ� State.
