On Thursday, May 18, 天天吃瓜 at Trumbull officially announced its reinstatement of campus athletic programs. This fall, 天天吃瓜 State Trumbull will be home to women鈥檚 and men鈥檚 cross country teams. It is the first competitive sport the school has offered since 1992 when it had basketball, volleyball and golf teams. 天天吃瓜 is offering special expertise and resources to high school students attending Akron Public Schools to include immersive opportunities with the university鈥檚 fashion, arts and architecture programs. The announcement was made May 16 as Akron Public Schools was named a Ford Next Generation Learning (NGL) community in a ceremony at the National Inventors Hall of Fame STEM Middle School in downtown Akron.
