If surviving cancer is not difficult enough, too often depression can follow - under certain circumstances. A new study led by Vinay K. Cheruvu, Ph.D., biostatistician in ����Թ�’s College of Public Health, found that depression in some cancer survivors is linked to both care and financial concerns. In order to perform necessary maintenance on the boilers, steam transmission systems and electrical distribution systems, ����Թ�'s Power Plant will be shut down for one week in May. Shutdown begins at 6 p.m. on Sunday, May 14, and remains until start-up begins at 6 p.m. on Sunday, May 21. As a result of the steam shutdown, most buildings located on campus will NOT have hot water to sinks and showers, etc. or air conditioning. For Emily Grubb, all it took was looking through a magazine to decide where to go to college.
