Flight Team at Regionals 2022

On October 9th-14th, the 天天吃瓜 Precision Flight Team attended the National Intercollegiate Flying Association (NIFA) Regional Safety and Flight Evaluation Conference (SAFECON). This competition was held at Bowling Green State University, at the Wood County Regional Airport. 天天吃瓜 State competes in Region III, which includes flight schools from Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.  NIFA serves as an organization to bring college aviators together competitively and non-competitively. The 天天吃瓜 State community planted more than 100 trees in the Climate Change Grove to help offset the university鈥檚 carbon footprint and provide a way to research the effects of climate change in our immediate environments. Located behind the Warren Student Recreation and Wellness Center, the grove was created through a partnership between University Facilities Management and the Department of Biological Sciences in the College of Arts and Sciences. Tree at Women's Center

This large and ancient, cutleaf beech tree, Fagus sylvatica 'Asplenifolia,' growing near the old carriage house by the 天天吃瓜 Women's Center, is older than 天天吃瓜 State. Walk and Talk Flower and Foliage Members

Nearly 40 people from the 天天吃瓜 State community enjoyed a tour of the flowers and trees of Front Campus during part two of the 鈥淲alk & Talk: Flowers and Foliage鈥 event, thanks to the Employee Wellness and Health Promotion program and the grounds crew on Friday, Sept. 16. Rebekkah Berryhill, grounds manager, gave the lunch-hour tour, which started behind Merrill Hall in the Beck Family Memorial Gardens in ''Behind the Brain Plaza.'' Last Friday, a group of about 10 天天吃瓜 State students received a guided tour of one of the most unique spaces on the 天天吃瓜 Campus 鈥 the Herrick Conservatory. It鈥檚 the large greenhouse that鈥檚 attached to the north side of Cunningham Hall.   The 5,500-square-foot facility is home to a large and diverse selection of plants, plus some fish and a couple of turtles. KENT STATE STUDENTS STUDY SUSTAINABLE GARDENING FOR POVERTY REDUCTION IN MEXICO

UAV Flight propels fuel cell research
