Since 2020, the ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï State College of Public Health (CPH) has been certified by the Ohio Board of Nursing as a site for students to complete the coursework necessary to apply as a Certified Community Health Worker (C-CHW).  A Community Health Worker (CHW) is defined by the American Public Health Association as “a frontline public health worker who is a trusted member and/or has an unusually close understanding of the community served."
