Members of the University Community:
ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï has launched a national search for an outstanding leader, communicator and collaborator to serve as our vice president for student affairs. This individual will lead institutional efforts aimed toward enhancing the engaged co-curricular lives of all students within our eight-campus system.
ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï’s efforts to conserve energy over the winter break saved the university $45,965 in electric and steam costs over nine days. The reduction in greenhouse gas emissions during this period was equal to more than a million miles driven by an average passenger vehicle.
Three ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï student business owners recently competed against each other and three other startup teams from around Northeast Ohio. Of the six businesses that were finalists in ProtoTech: Pitch, the Incubator at MAGNET’s technology start-up pitch competition, half were founded by ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï State students.
ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï’s Office of Institutional Advancement now offers a new way for faculty and staff to request alumni data for official university business.
Only faculty and staff can request alumni data, which can be used for such purposes as accreditation surveys, event invitations or department mailings. All requests are reviewed by an advancement staff member, who will follow up to clarify details and deliver the data.
