ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï State Announces Forever Brighter, a $350 Million Fundraising Campaign

ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï publicly launched a $350 million comprehensive fundraising campaign Saturday, Oct. 2. During a special halftime announcement at the Homecoming football game, campaign co-chairs Sandra C. and Lawrence R. Armstrong joined ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï State President Todd Diacon to publicly unveil Forever Brighter to thousands of alumni, donors and friends.

ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï State Honors College Student Announced as 2021 Portz Scholar

The National Collegiate Honors Council has announced ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï Honors College graduate Sarah Hagglund as a 2021 Portz Scholar. Hagglund is the 10th honors student from ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï State to be named a Portz Scholar since the national competition began in 1990.

Oboist Danna Sundet Rediscovers the Magic of Playing for Fun Amidst Crisis

It’s been a busy 2021 for Danna Sundet, ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï State professor of oboe and alumna. Between performances and making recordings, running the John Mack Oboe Camp and starting a new venture on YouTube, Sundet has continued teaching a robust studio of young oboists at ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï State and pursuing outside projects despite the challenges posed by Covid-19.
