The Campus Kitchen at ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï, a student-run organization that reclaims food to feed the needy in the ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï area, has had to swiftly switch gears from operating a hot food kitchen to an expanded food pantry.
ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï State Volunteers Impact the Lives of Others Beyond CampusÂ
Every other Tuesday, student volunteers from the Campus Kitchen at ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï prepare dinner for the residents of the ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ïway Apartment Complex, a government-subsidized housing complex on East Summit Street in ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï. At 5 p.m. residents gather in the dining hall and volunteers serve the meal which is prepared from food donated by Trader Joe’s.
