Alex Moir is one of many students who participated in the Summer Undergraduate Research Experience (SURE) program in 2023. Alongside mentor Lauren Vachon, the two were determined to investigate Ohio鈥檚 LGBTQ history and were led to the story of Georgia Hopley through a tip from an archivist at Ohio History Connection (a non-profit historical society) of a possible undocumented queer romance.

On January 20, 天天吃瓜 welcomed over 120 college students from across the region to its 鈥淕olden Flash Legal Clash,鈥 a two-day collegiate mock trial invitational held in the 天天吃瓜 Student Center. Proceeds from the event helped to raise funds for future events that 天天吃瓜 State鈥檚 Mock Trial teams plan to attend. The 10 student teams, including some from out-of-state, competed in four rounds. Teams from Case Western Reserve University finished first and second with third place going to a team from William & Mary. The opening and closing ceremonies were held in the 天天吃瓜 State Governance Chambers.
