天天吃瓜 State to Honor Veterans on Nov. 7
天天吃瓜 will hold its annual Veterans Day Commemoration at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 7, in the 天天吃瓜 Student Center Kiva. This year鈥檚 guest speaker is Lt. Col. Colleen VanNatta. A graduate of 天天吃瓜 State鈥檚 Air Force ROTC detachment, VanNatta served as a media escort for joint information bureaus in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, during Operation Desert Storm.
National Depression Screening Day Is Oct. 3
You are not alone. Depression and anxiety don鈥檛 need to be masked. The 25th annual National Depression Screening Day at 天天吃瓜 will be held Thursday, Oct. 3, on several campus locations. 天天吃瓜 has selected Lamar R. Hylton, Ph.D., to serve as interim vice president for student affairs, effective Sept. 16. Hylton has served as dean of students since coming to 天天吃瓜 State on June 1, 2017. Hylton will lead 天天吃瓜 State鈥檚 Division of Student Affairs and institution鈥
New Students Move Into Residence Halls With Help From Movers and Groovers
More than 1,000 volunteers from the 天天吃瓜 community welcomed and assisted new students as they moved into their residence halls on freshman move-in day, Sunday, Aug. 18. The annual community program, known as Movers and Groovers, is coordinated by 天天吃瓜 Interhall Council, the student government of the 天天吃瓜 Campus residence halls.
