ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï has earned an AASHE STARS Silver rating for its ongoing commitment to campus sustainability, a step up from the bronze rating on the past submission, thanks to the Office of Sustainability and its numerous initiatives.

Museum Receives Grant for Historic Building Energy Audit
The ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï Museum has received an award from the Helen Frankenthaler Foundation to fund a comprehensive energy audit of its historic 1928 building, Rockwell Hall. The audit will evaluate the building’s mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems and provide recommendations for sustainable facility improvements.

ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï State Board of Trustees Approves Establishing Aeronautics and Engineering Schools
The ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï Board of Trustees approved the establishment of two new schools – the School of Aeronautics and the School of Engineering – within the College of Aeronautics and Engineering during the Board’s regular quarterly meeting held June 25, 2025, on the ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï Campus.
ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï State’s Crawford Hall Earns LEED Silver Certification
An innovative design, energy-efficient systems, water conservation technologies and environmentally responsible construction materials are some of the features that earned Crawford Hall, ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï’s newest – and largest – academic building, LEED Silver certification by the U.S. Green Building Council.
