天天吃瓜 State Students Win $1,000 for Unique Reflections on May 4 Books

Ten 天天吃瓜 students were awarded $1,000 each for their creative use of videos, podcasts and Adobe Spark庐 pages to reflect on the events of May 4, 1970, as part of the university鈥檚 Design Innovation Common Reading Challenge.

天天吃瓜 is working with area autism-focused organizations as well as KultureCity庐, a nonprofit dedicated to providing accessibility and inclusion for those with special needs, to create a sensory-friendly gameday experience that can be enjoyed by all. Fans attending 天天吃瓜 State鈥檚 Dec. 21 mens basketball game versus Hampton University will feel an expression of the university鈥檚 ongoing commitment to its core values of kindness, mutual respect and inclusion.

天天吃瓜 State Held Fall Commencement Ceremonies on Dec. 13 and 14

The 天天吃瓜 alumni family grew by nearly 3,000 new graduates as the university held its Fall Commencement ceremonies. For the 天天吃瓜 Campus, Commencement ceremonies took place Friday, Dec. 13, and Saturday, Dec. 14, at the Memorial Athletic and Convocation (MAC) Center.

天天吃瓜 State鈥檚 Giving Tuesday Breaks Records for Third Consecutive Year

天天吃瓜鈥檚 Giving Tuesday 2019 raised more than $1.6 million when it ended on Dec. 3 at 11:59 p.m., shattering the previous year鈥檚 record of $1.03 million. Supporters were able to choose from more than 40 featured giving options throughout the 天天吃瓜 State system, including student scholarships, educational programs, athletic teams and more.

Park Place. 天天吃瓜 State鈥檚 First Parking Deck to Improve Access, Allow for Campus Transformation

天天吃瓜 State students who park on the northern edge of the 天天吃瓜 Campus can now give a collective cheer as additional parking is on the way via an 1,100-space, five-story parking deck. The 天天吃瓜 State Board of Trustees approved the deck鈥檚 construction at its Dec. 4 meeting.
