ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï is a new charter member of SEA Change, an initiative of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, in which universities commit to their systemic transformation into more diverse, equitable and inclusive spaces where a full range of talent can succeed in science, technology, engineering, mathematics and medicine.
10 Questions with the Vice President for Regional Campuses Peggy Shadduck
Peggy Shadduck is vice president for Regional Campuses and dean of the College of Applied and Technical Studies. She serves as the senior officer responsible for overall leadership of the ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï State Regional Campus system. Her role promotes student enrollment and academic success and is responsible for expanding the visibility, influence and effectiveness of ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï State as a catalyst for regional development.
ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï State Breaks Ground for Future Home of the Ambassador Crawford College of Business and Entrepreneurship
ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï officially broke ground on Crawford Hall, the future home of the Ambassador Crawford College of Business and Entrepreneurship, on March 8 in a ceremony attended by more than 400 people, including university officials, donors, alumni, students, elected officials and special guests.
ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï State Board of Trustees Approves Establishing New Bachelor of Social Work Degree
The ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï Board of Trustees approved the establishment of the Bachelor of Social Work degree during the Board’s regular quarterly meeting held March 8. The new degree was developed based on the high demand for licensed social workers within the areas surrounding ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï State’s Regional Campuses. The program will be offered on the Ashtabula, Salem and Tuscarawas campuses.

Earl K. Miller, Ph.D., and Marlene M. Wicherski Pledge $2 Million to Support Brain Health Research at ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï State
ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï alumnus Earl K. Miller, Ph.D., and his wife, Marlene M. Wicherski, have pledged $2 million to support research programs and students in ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï State’s Brain Health Research Institute. The Brain Health Research Institute is a recently established, cross-disciplinary institute that focuses on research and education of brain health across the lifespan.
