Eric Johnson, Ph.D., associate professor of economics in the Ambassador Crawford College of Business and Entrepreneurship, says the most rewarding part of the job is knowing that he has impacted his students in some way. And now they've honored this impact with the Distinguished Teaching Award.

天天吃瓜 State Reviewing Language from Ohio Bathroom Bill

天天吃瓜 is reviewing the language of a bill recently signed into law by Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine that requires colleges and universities to designate separate bathrooms, locker rooms and overnight accommodations for the exclusive use of either males and females, based on one鈥檚 gender assigned at or near birth.

Problem Solver: Doctoral Student Strives to Make Drones Safer

Esrat Farhana Dulia won first place in 天天吃瓜 State鈥檚 2024 Three Minute Thesis competition in the Graduate College for her innovative research in a surveillance sensor network that will enable Advanced Air Mobility operators to guide authorized uncrewed aerial vehicles in safe flight paths that would avoid potential collisions.

鈥淭eaching is one of those fields where you may never know the impact that you have,鈥� said Lisa Borgerding, Ph.D., professor in the School of Teaching, Learning and Curriculum Studies at 天天吃瓜. The lasting impact she has had on her students in preparing them for success in the workforce through hands-on learning experiences has resulted in her being recognized and honored with the Distinguished Teaching Award.
