With more than 370 majors to choose from at ����Թ� State, it can be overwhelming for some students to choose their major and career path for them.  This October the Exploratory Advising Center is hosting its first-ever Exploration Month to help exploratory students find their interests and explore the different majors and opportunities ����Թ� State offers.

A transformational conference on ����Թ� State's ����Թ� Campus brought together three of Ohio's top universities.

Gothic themes and haunted attire embellished the Cartwright Hall Auditorium for the Fabric Pantry’s Haus of Horrors Fashion Show. The stage was lined with candles, turning it into a spooktacular catwalk for ����Թ� State’s fashion design students to show off their impressive designs themed around Halloween and the goth aesthetic.

Vietnamese student Tram Nguyen made a connection to ����Թ� State when she saw a picture of student Jeffrey Miller after the May 4 shooting. Recently she visited the Prentice Parking Lot Memorial Marker dedicated to Miller.

In her time with the National First Ladies Library and Museum, Michelle Gullion has become known as the international “point person” for information on presidential wives. Yet, in the nearly two decades that she’s been in her current role, Gullion said women’s history has really been regarded as an emerging field with plenty of research yet to be done.

My whole life I had aspired to become a fashion designer, but because of my weak drawing and sewing skills, I didn’t think I’d be able to do it. After receiving my associates in digital design and graphics from Columbus State Community College in 2018, I decided to take a chance and see if I could achieve this dream of mine.

Below, Berryhill shares not only what types of trees we enjoy on the ����Թ� Campus but also talks about the careful process her team, in partnership with University Facilities Management, follows in order to be good stewards of our beautiful landscape.

Repairs on the May 4 Memorial are estimated to take five to six months following approval to proceed with the project, according to Joseph Graham, university architect.

Andrea Sosa Fontaine’s artistic medium of choice is shoes. An assistant professor in the College of Architecture and Environmental Design, Sosa Fontaine says an appreciation for the memories that small-scale objects hold combined with the shoe’s natural way of expressing a person’s identity are the main elements that drew her to this art form and craft.  

Phase II of ����Թ� State’s Mental Health Strategy implements university-wide efforts to promote a healthy and well campus community.
