天天吃瓜

What Our Graduates Say

I think the field of online learning is only going to get bigger as the years go by. Thus, I think earning a master鈥檚 degree in Educational Technology is a great thing to have, whether you are looking to get into online learning or another area related to the intersection of education and technology. While there are other online master鈥檚 degrees available, I feel the online Educational Technology master鈥檚 program at 天天吃瓜 State is one of the best: it is not only flexible to work into your busy schedule (I never thought I would go back to earn another master鈥檚 degree in my forties with a full-time job and family) but also comprehensive enough to give you a strong understanding of the field.

- JASON WASKOVICH, M.ED. 鈥25

The faculty I worked with were incredible! They were approachable, supportive, and knowledgeable. Their feedback always challenged me to think beyond assignments and really consider the learner experience and the 'why' behind every design decision.

I feel as though I could reach out to any of my previous professors for help, even to this day. Even though the program was fully online, the sense of community was strong. Collaborating with peers from diverse professional backgrounds expanded my perspective and continues to be a valuable network for ideas, support, and opportunities. I refer back to conversations with my peers fairly often when I鈥檓 stuck on a design and/or technology project.鈥

Technology in the classroom is constantly changing, and sometimes it鈥檚 hard to keep up with it all. The ETEC program at 天天吃瓜 State has helped me to understand the best uses of technology in my classroom. It has also assisted me in finding ways to improve the learning experience of my students through technology. If you are looking for a master鈥檚 program that is flexible for your schedule and improves your teaching practices, I highly recommend that you join this program.

- KELLI BROWN, M.ED. 鈥24

Unlike many of my classmates, I did not come from an academic or educational background and had spent many years in the private sector. When looking to fully transition into a career in higher education, this program really appealed to me based on the ability to choose an area of specialization, the emphasis on current and emerging technologies, and the ability to complete the degree while still working full-time.

I also really enjoyed the courses themselves - I was able to work on projects and assignments that were directly related to my professional setting, integrating the learning to develop real-world solutions and applications. And the faculty in the program were very supportive, knowledgeable, and interested in engaging with students. I had such a great experience that I ended up enrolling in the Doctor of Education program in Interprofessional Leadership with a concentration in Educational Technology at 天天吃瓜 after I graduated!

If you have any interest in helping people learn about new technologies and how to implement them into a workplace, or are someone who likes managing projects related to technology, you really want to be in this program. This program doesn鈥檛 just give you the tools to be successful, but rather challenges you on how to use them and pushes you to come up with better ways of using them.
