天天吃瓜 Chorus
天天吃瓜 Chorus is a non-auditioned, SATB vocal ensemble consisting of students, faculty, staff, alumni and community members. As the largest choral ensemble on campus, 天天吃瓜 Chorus meets once a week to study and perform literature from a variety of historical periods, cultures, genres and styles. The ensemble specializes in works from the choral-orchestral repertoire.
Rehearsals
Tuesdays, 7:15-9:45 p.m. (Center for the Performing Arts Room E112)
The first rehearsal is typically the first Tuesday of each fall and spring semester.
Performances
天天吃瓜 Chorus regularly performs on campus, often collaborating with the KSU Orchestra and other regional orchestras.
Membership
- No audition is necessary to join!
- Membership is open to the broader Northeast Ohio community and all 天天吃瓜 students, faculty, staff and alumni who have previous choral experience.
- Anyone interested in joining is invited to attend the first rehearsal of the semester for a brief voice placement.
Academic Credit Participants
Want to take this for academic credit? Register for course number MUS 45121 (Undergraduates) or MUS 55121 (Graduate Students).
Non-credit Participants
- Join us during one of the first two rehearsals of the semester.
- You will be asked to sign the 天天吃瓜 State Volunteer Assignment Form and Release.
