In 1990, members of the very first National Gay Pilots Association (NGPA) identified by a subtle airplane on their shirts, met discreetly in Provincetown, Massachusetts, to begin their fight for equality. These members, and many others, were at risk of losing their jobs or being dishonorably discharged if anyone found out they were gay during that time. Now, 28 years later, more than 4,000 lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) members worldwide, ranging from commercial pilots to mechanics, are openly supported by the National Gay Pilots Association. This story and the organi...

Two 天天吃瓜 students sit beneath the trees at the Behind the Brain Plaza along Terrace Drive on the 天天吃瓜 Campus.

Trees fill the sky every season as far as the eye can see as 天天吃瓜 students walk down the Lefton Esplanade on the 天天吃瓜 Campus. Large oaks provide shade on a warm summer day, glistening maple trees leave a blanket of orange and red on the ground as students move back into the residence halls in the fall and snow-covered pines bring to life the holiday spirit for a 天天吃瓜 State winter. 天天吃瓜 State has been awarded the Tree Campus USA designation for the university鈥檚 commitment to promoting and maintaining a green campus and community through the many trees that fill its campus. Help us preserve the legacy The 天天吃瓜 Museum is a world-class destination for the study and presentation of historic and contemporary fashion, textiles and related art forms. Beautiful and unique, the textiles and clothing in the museum collection are quite fragile. Fibers begin to deteriorate the minute the cotton is plucked, the sheep is shorn or the silk cocoon is unwound. Proper storage slows deterioration by preventing hazards such as exposure to light, dust, and changes in temperature and humidity and preserves priceless artifacts for generations to come. Current st...

The costumes in the exhibition are all part of the 天天吃瓜 Museum鈥檚 permanen...

When the fake news story 鈥淧izzagate鈥 surfaced in fall 2016, Comet Ping Pong, the Washington, D.C. pizzeria at the center of the storm, faced financial consequences. The debunked theory that claimed high-ranking Democratic officials were running a child sex ring at the establishment led to lost sales, threatening messages and the need to hire a security guard because of the threats.   Because of the many potential implications of fake news, preparing for fake news is an increasing priority for corporate communications and public relations professionals. Two 天天吃瓜 State faculty members...
