March 2025 Lunar Eclipse from the ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï Airport

Staying up late and braving the chilly overnight temperatures, Michael Gershe, senior advisor II in ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï State's College of Aeronautics and Engineering took photos of the "Blood Moon" lunar eclipse that occurred from about 1 a.m. - 3:30 a.m. on March 14. AEDs around campus

Sudden cardiac arrest can happen without warning, and immediate action is critical. At ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï State, Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) are placed across campus to ensure help is always close by. These devices are designed for anyone to use—no medical training needed—and provide clear voice instructions during an emergency. AEDs can be found in some academic buildings, recreation and athletic facilities and other high traffic areas throughout the ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï Campus. Taking a moment to learn where the nearest AED is in your building or on campus can make a lifesaving difference.

Behind the scenes of campus safety: stocking epinephrine

ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï State’s Culinary Services faces the daily challenge of serving more than 20,000 meals to students, staff, and faculty. This task is further complicated by the increasing number of food allergies. In response to this increasing issue, University Culinary Services (UCS) has implemented stock epinephrine, now available at six of the university’s largest dining locations: Eastway Dining, Eastway Market, DI Hub, Student Center, Grill 72, and Rosie’s.
