Sudden cardiac arrest can happen without warning, and immediate action is critical. At ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï State, Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) are placed across campus to ensure help is always close by. These devices are designed for anyone to use—no medical training needed—and provide clear voice instructions during an emergency. AEDs can be found in some academic buildings, recreation and athletic facilities and other high traffic areas throughout the ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï Campus. Taking a moment to learn where the nearest AED is in your building or on campus can make a lifesaving difference.
Nominations are now open for the ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï Advisor Impact Award! Sponsored by University Advising, the Advisor Impact Award is a quarterly recognition given to one outstanding academic advisor who has made a significant positive impact on the lives and academic success of their students. This award celebrates advisors who embody the ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï Advising Guiding Principles. Nominations for the award close Friday, April 10.
ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï State’s Culinary Services faces the daily challenge of serving more than 20,000 meals to students, staff, and faculty. This task is further complicated by the increasing number of food allergies. In response to this increasing issue, University Culinary Services (UCS) has implemented stock epinephrine, now available at six of the university’s largest dining locations: Eastway Dining, Eastway Market, DI Hub, Student Center, Grill 72, and Rosie’s.
