ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï State Board of Trustees Approves Master’s Degree in Peace and Conflict Studies

The ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï Board of Trustees approved the establishment of a new master’s degree that will help meet two decades of sustained growth in the broad field of conflict studies. The new Peace and Conflict Studies major within the Master of Arts degree will be offered in person on the ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï Campus and will prepare students for careers as practitioners in the fields of peace and conflict management and for doctorate study.

ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï State’s Giving Tuesday Campaign Raises $3.6 Million for Scholarships and Programs

This November, members of the ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï community joined together to shine their light on philanthropy. During the November campaign, ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï State’s Giving Tuesday raised $3.6 million, marking the sixth year it has brought in more than $1 million to support scholarships and programs across ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï State’s eight-campus system.

ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï State Board of Trustees Welcomes Class of 2026, Approves Pizzuti Park Naming

The ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï Board of Trustees welcomed the Class of 2026 at the Board’s regular quarterly meeting held Sept. 21 at the ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï Airport. ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï State’s freshman class began classes on the ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï Campus nearly 7% larger than the previous year with 4,251 students – the eighth largest incoming class in the university’s 112-year history.
