Regional Students Receive Intel庐 Scholarships

Two students in the College of Applied and Technical Studies at 天天吃瓜 at Tuscarawas received Intel Semiconductor Scholarship for Women awards. The scholarships support education-related expenses (tuition, fees, books,etc.) as well as other expenses including transportation and childcare.

Rising Scholar Briana Hawkins is pursuing her dream of becoming a nurse. A junior at 天天吃瓜 at Stark, Briana鈥檚 nursing training has helped her in unexpected ways as she cared for her mother after she suffered traumatic burns in a household accident.

Planned Gift Endows Executive Director Position at 天天吃瓜 State鈥檚 Wick Poetry Center

The Wick family has a long history of philanthropy at 天天吃瓜 that began in 1984 when brothers Bob and Walt Wick first established scholarships to support undergraduate poets at the university. This most recent gift of $1 million brings the family鈥檚 total lifetime commitment to the university to more than $3.5 million.

天天吃瓜 State Recognizes Alumni During Homecoming Weekend

天天吃瓜 recognizes alumni who, through leadership, character and hard work, are making a difference. During Homecoming Weekend, 10 Golden Flashes were presented with Alumni Awards, and nine alumni received Lifetime Achievement recognitions from the university鈥檚 Black Alumni Chapter.
