She answered live questions and discussed such areas as tutoring, advising, and career exploration and development, all of which remain available to students during this period of remote learning.

ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï State Public Relations Students Create Census Campaign
Since October 2019, select public relations students at ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï have been working hard to complete a campaign for the 2020 Annual Case Study Bateman Competition client: the United States Census Bureau. The National Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) hosts this competition each year challenging participants to develop and implement a comprehensive communications campaign for a client.

Comparing Complexities: Jackson State Alternative Spring Break Trip
In lieu of traveling to a crowded beach for spring break, some ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï State students will opt for a more informative spring break trip. From March 22-26, 2020, students will head to Jackson, Miss., to learn about the complexities between the ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï State May 4 shootings and the Jackson State shootings, both of which occurred in May of 1970.

Planting ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï State’s Place: Tree Campus USA Recognition
The trees on ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï’s campus bring something new to marvel at each season. In the summer, trees provide welcoming shade for students to lounge, fall brings vivid leaves that crunch under students’ feet on the way to classes, and winter pines provide an idyllic picture of fluffy snow. With nearly 4,000 trees on campus, ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï State has been awarded the Tree Campus USA recognition for the 12th consecutive year from the Arbor Day Foundation, a nonprofit conservation organization.

More Than $1 Million Managed Through Golden Flash Asset Management Group
The Golden Flash Asset Management (GFAM) Group is composed of ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï State students who are interested in finance. The team manages an investment fund of over $1 million dollars in assets from the ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï State Foundation.

Athlete Infection Control Program Piloted at ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï
A recent study about a new infection control program was recently piloted that strategically placed hand sanitizers and a surface disinfectant spray throughout athletic training rooms in two high schools and two colleges in Northeast Ohio, including ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï State.
